Support & Info Page
Pointer Tool
(the default tool of the program) enables you to estimate the (x, y) coordinates of a certain point on the image as well as enabling you to perform a number of common operations from a pop-up menu.
Zoom Dropdown Box
- With this box it is possible to set the size of the picture as it will be displayed in the picture window. In other words, it enables you to set the picture's display ratio on the screen (in proportion to its original size in pixels).
How to use the tool
Placing the mouse's pointer on a desired point on the picture will display its coordinate in the status bar of the same picture. When the pointer is above an open picture, right-clicking on the mouse will open a pop-up menu which enables you to perform a number of common operations (such as zooming in, zooming out, copying, cutting, erasing and so on).
Magnifying Tool (Zoom)
With this tool it is possible to increase and reduce the size of areas on a picture. The magnifying tool enables you to increase the size of areas on a picture where editing operations are desired, allowing you to focus on them easily. The tool also enables you to decrease the size of very large pictures and so allows you to see the entire picture. The magnifying tool does not change the actual size (size in pixels) of the picture. It only changes the way it is displayed on the screen. In order to change the actual size of the picture, use the Resize function.
Zoom Dropdown Box
- With this box it is possible to set the size of the picture as it will be displayed in the picture window. In other words, it enables you to set the picture's display ratio on the screen (in proportion to its original size in pixels).
How to use the tool
use the mouse to point on the center of the area you wish to increase/decrease in size. Left-clicking with the mouse will increase the area while right-clicking on the area will decrease it.
Color Sampler Tool
The Color Sampler enables you to sample an exact color from the picture into the Fore Color Box or the Back Color Box.
Color (For Html)
- This characteristic contains the color of the point on which the mouse is pointing (the data is for reading purposes only). The data is displayed in a hexa-decimal value in the format used by web pages.
How to use the tool
in order to sample a color from the picture, select the Color Sampler tool. Afterwards, use the mouse to point on the spot from where you wish to sample a color (placing the mouse over the dot will display the color in a hexa-decimal value used for Html pages, in the tool's properties box). To sample the color into the Fore Color box, click on the mouse's left button. To sample the color into the Back Color box, click on the mouse's right button. After sampling the color into the color boxes, it is possible to use it with any one of the paint tools or any other tool that makes use of these colors.
